Destination Wedding Photographer Zurich
Life – and wedding seasons – can be strange sometimes! This one I am showing you today is my second destination wedding in Zurich – and my first one was shot just a month before this one. I had never been to Switzerland before, and then I went there twice over a single month as Destination Wedding Photographer in Zurich for two gorgeous and unforgettable Weddings in Switzerland!
This time, I will tell you the story of Leonardo and Vanessa, a super cute couple with Italian origins.
Leonardo is the inventor of POVLAMP – the first suspended 3D lamp ever invented. If you are curious, take a look at his website here!
He proposed to Vanessa during the Swiss lockdown, and it was a totally unexpected and very original proposal! Leonardo planned it all in its smallest details and Vanessa happily accepted to crown their love story a few months later with a beautiful Wedding in Switzerland.
What is curious about how I met these two is that the first one I impressed was not the bride, nor the groom – it was the bride’s father! He showed my Instagram profile to Vanessa, she loved what she saw and they contacted me. During our Zoom video call, Vanessa told me she absolutely wanted me to be their Destination Wedding photographer in Zurich in order to narrate their most beautiful day through my photographs. An absolute pleasure and honor, indeed!
Here’s what happened:
So there I was, back to Switzerland for their wedding day. Even though it rained throughout the day, it was a stunning and really funny wedding. We shot the wedding photos in Zurich by jumping on and off the buses, just like kids! Unfortunately, every indoor area was crowded – plus COVID – so that wasn’t really the case. That’s ok though – the most important thing is to be adventurous and go with the flow. Above all, the Keyword here: let’s have some fun!
I loved their wedding dinner as well – it was all Southern Italian street food, and it was simply delicious! I loved this idea, and I had never seen it before on a wedding day.
In conclusion, the spouses just wanted something different, and most importantly something that could portray their style and fun attitude. And by looking at their wedding gallery, we can totally say they got what they wanted!
And they sayd:
