The first time for me outside Europe, the first time as Destination Wedding Photographer in Bali.
It was an amazing experience, my first wedding from the other side of the World!
Bali is a wonderful island, a place where respect and spirituality are the basis of balinese culture.
Everything is perfectly coordinated in the chaotic traffic city, cars, scooters, dogs, people…. It’s so crazy but It’s so coordinated!
This beautiful island is affected by its nature, its beaches, cliffs, jungle, and… the monkeys!! Oh the monkeys… xD xD xD
Here people don’t care about your clothes, your hairstyle, your job, your shoes, here the positive attitude is the important, your smile is the important!
I’m in love with balinese people!
If you are planning for a destination wedding in Bali, It’s a right choice! You can choose between a wedding on the beach, a wedding on the cliff, or a wedding in the jungle!
Olivia e Shub have chosen for a wedding in the jungle, at Villa The Sanctuary in Canggu.
But let me tell you how I met them:
They contacted me in September 2018, They were looking for an engagement photographer in Tuscany, in particular to have engagement photos in Val d’Orcia.
We spent a couple of hours between San Quirico d’Orcia e the tuscan countryside to take engagement photos and We had a great time!
Probably you have already have a look at this photo shoot on my love stories.. It’s here!
When they enjoyed their engagement photos in Val d’Orcia, Olivia sent me a txt message: “We are planning out wedding next year,… somewhere in Asia… Would you willing to travel at all?”… And I was so really glad and excited! And Of course! I’m available to travel at all!!
Olivia and Shub gave me the opportunity to tell their special days, and also to be their guest.
They are so lovely with me and my wife. I’ve rarely seen this respect for my work.
And their families was so kind, two families that mixing harmoniously different and distant cultures: China, India, West.
Me and my wife Katherine, spent five days with them as guest of wedding at Villa The Sanctuary. I felt not only a Destination Wedding Photographer in Bali, but I felt part of those families. We shared meals and places, laughs and emotions.
This was a great great honor and a great great privilege for me and Katherine.
The wedding days were perfectly organized. We taken pre wedding photos in Bali in the rice padding and at the water temple, and the day after at the Sangeet party (crazy party!).
The wedding day was wonderful. We started with the bride and groom getting ready.. and the pizza party!
The ceremony was in the garden of the Villa The Sanctuary, and the set up of the dinner was incredible! The wedding day finished with the crazy party in the pool!
We taken the wedding photos in Bali the day after on the cliff of Uluwatu with a fantastic and romantic view on the ocean.
Thank you to the spouses and their families! And a big thank to my wife Katherine. She has accompanied me with courage in this new amazing experience as Destination Wedding Photographer in Bali. She gave me the peace of mind that I needed to afford this big burden. And thank you to my friend Jody, always a guarantee as colleague, but first of all a dear friend.
